It is unlikely that the Dallas foxes may attack the dogs even when they are too small but it is
possible for a dog to be the one that attacks the fox. The cats are able to protect themselves
against the foxes and it is possible that the fox will free when they face the cats. If you have
small animal like pet rabbit, it is good to keep it in a secure place even if it is rare to report
the Texas fox that have eaten a pet of someone, it is possible.
The Texas fox attacks still happen on the rare occasion and they should not be ruled out completely but they
do not happen every day. Most of the time, the problem may rise in the cub season if the fox or other species
will want to take on anything in order to protect their children. The cats can be notorious for their curiosity
or mauling of the small animals so the cats may be harmed during such process. It is good to always remember that
when it comes to the small pets, the fox are always the predator and when the rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs are
involved, the fox can attack and eat them. In this case, it is important to have a quality pen to prevent the Dallas fox
against entering inside. However, these are not the concern when it comes to dogs or cats since most of the time,
they may out weight the adult fox. So far as the matter of animals is concerned, anyone can have a pet animal but
no one would like to have an animal that is either dead or wild. So, there are lots of ways through which a person
can get rid of the Dallas animals he doesn’t want to keep inside the four walls of the house.
There are serious damage that may be caused by the Texas fox when they attack the farms. They can kill water fowl, goats,
poultry, calves or lambs. The foxes are opportunistic animals and if they can find the lambs easily, they may make
them their diet. The fox also have been reported to attack the free range poultry, emu chicks, ostrich, deer or cows
found in the birth difficulty.
Dallas foxes may also cause the environmental damage when they prey on small species. They eat reptiles, small mammals and birds.
They can eat endangered or near extinction species. The foxes will contribute greatly to the extinction pressure of some
important species.
